Adult Class

Get your hands in clay, meet interesting people and share the magic of turning mud into functional objects. We offer instruction for all skill levels.

Wheel class registration is monthly with a two-month minimum. Each weekly class is two-and-a-half hours long. You can start whenever there is an opening on a day and time that works for you. The fee is $215 a month and renews automatically unless canceled. Partial months are prorated.

Handbuilding sessions are two-and-a-half hours long for 8 weeks, and have fixed beginning and end dates. The fee is $400.

The fee covers clay and basic tools for making and glazing pots with some exceptions. As you advance, you may want to purchase your own tools. We sell basic kits, special brushes, stains, trimming tools, custom-made ribs, throwing sticks, bats and other gizmos.

To prepare for class, wear clothes that can get dirty, clip fingernails short, and tie back long hair. Bring an old towel for wiping your hands or rent one from us for $1.00.

HEALTH REMINDER Wearing a mask is now optional. IMPORTANT, if feeling ill, stay home. Help us keep everyone safe and healthy.

The class fee reserves a wheel for you in your chosen class and covers personalized instruction and materials, including clay, use of tools and equipment, glazes and firing. More advanced students may incur additional fees for use of porcelain and for glaze-firing larger pots.

You get up to two makeup credits for missed classes each month. These credits expire 60 days after they are issued. Makeups are bookable.

Studio memberships available for more experienced potters.
