Adult 10-Week Class Session
Get your hands in clay, meet interesting people and share the magic of turning mud into functional objects. We offer instruction for all skill levels. Class sessions are ongoing and run for 10 consecutive weeks. Each class is two-and-a-half hours long. You can start whenever there is an opening on a day and time that works for you.
The fee covers clay and basic tools for making and glazing pots with some exceptions. As you advance, you may want to purchase your own tools. We sell basic kits, special brushes, stains, trimming tools, custom-made ribs, throwing sticks, bats and other gizmos.
To prepare for class, wear clothes that can get dirty, clip fingernails short, and tie back long hair. Bring an old towel for wiping your hands or rent one from us for $1.00.
Registrations are not accepted more than three weeks before you want to start your classes. More information below.
Gift certificates available for 10-week course and Try-It classes! Contact us for details.
Memberships available for more experienced potters.
The class fee reserves a wheel for you in your chosen class. It covers personalized instruction and materials, including clay, use of tools and equipment, glazes and firing. More advanced students may incur additional fees for use of porcelain and for glaze-firing larger pots.
If a student withdraws before the first class, a refund will be made minus a nonrefundable registration fee of $80. Once you begin your first class, no refunds will be made.
